NBA Pundit Says ‘Harden Will burn Out And Disappear Before The End of The Season’

According to recent reports, James Harden’s performance in the rest of the season will just deteriorate. Just a few days back, Harden became the only player in the last ten years to have scored 400 points in ten straight games. With this accomplishment, he joined Jordan and Kobe Bryant as the only players to have achieved the feat in the past 30 years.

However, some people are not convinced about the star’s form. Over the course of the past ten games, Harden has scored more than 40 points. NBA pundit Colin Cowherd said that this will make Harden burn out by the end of this season. Cowherd explained:

“James Harden of the Rockets is on fire. He had 43 last night, another triple-double, he’s going crazy, it’s December, oh my god, look at this, it’s incredible. Folks, there’s something called a usage rate. James Harden has the highest usage rate by a mile, meaning he has the ball constantly. That means his stats are through the roof, including his turnovers, of which he had nine last night. Are we going to be fooled by this again? Go and look at the December point leaders, Westbrook, Harden, Westbrook, Harden. You’ve seen Westbrook, he’s out of gas by the first round. Remember what happened last year against Golden State? James Harden disappeared, he had one game where he was 0-11 from three’s. Throughout the series against the Warriors, he shot 24 per cent three pointers. Why? How is that possible? Did he forget how to shoot? No. His legs were shot.”

He went on to say:

“We’ve seen Westbrook, we’ve seen Harden, we’ve seen John Wall, Derrick Rose, these high usage guards have the ball in their hands constantly, but the NBA has always been about late May and June. It gets you massive usage rate in January, and these guys are worn out in June. LeBron James’ last 11 finals games, at the end of the year, this is what you call sustainable. [He scored] 34 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists and his field goal percentage goes up. You ever notice that LeBron isn’t the story in December/January? That’s because LeBron is sustainable, he’s not trying to win January. We’re falling for it again.”

Let’s see if these predictions turn out to be true!
