The Los Angeles Lakers have had a few days off. The last time we saw them on the court was the night before New Year’s Eve. We will see them on the court again this Wednesday. However, it looks like LeBron James will have to sit this one out as well. His injury is still not fully healed.
According to recent reports, James was very excited to a game that was not played by his team. He came forward to share plenty of messages of encouragement for his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes before they take on the Washington Huskies in the 2019 edition of The Rose Bowl. James also made sure to shout out his buddy Ohio State running back Parris Campbell.
Just a few days before that, James talked about his thoughts on the GOAT title. He decided to share this views on the topic for the first time ever and said that he thinks he is the GOAT. He even gave the reason why he thinks he deserves the title. In the interview, James said that winning the championship for the Cavaliers made him deserving of the GOAT title:
That one right there made me the greatest player of all time … that’s what I felt. I was super, super ecstatic to win one for Cleveland because of the 52-year drought. The first wave of emotion was when everyone saw me crying, like, that was all for 52 years of everything in sports that’s gone on in Cleveland. And then after I stopped, I was like – that one right there made you the greatest player of all time. Everybody was just talking — how [the Warriors] were the greatest team of all time, like it was the greatest team ever assembled,’ LeBron continued. ‘And for us to come back, you know, the way we came back in that fashion, I was like: “You did, you did something special.”
We completely agree with James on this one! We hope to see him back on the court as soon as possible.
